Isu kiamat 2012 sudah saya bantah di blog saya .
Tetapi belakangan beredar informasi menyesatkan yang mengatasnamakan
NASA bahwa akan ada kegelapan pada 23-25 Desember 2012. Informasi yang
mengatasnamakan NASA kadang dianggap benar, walau isinya tak masuk tak
masuk akal. Disebutkan akan ada “pengelompokan alam semesta, bumi dan
matahari akan mengelompok untuk pertama kalinya”. Kutipan informasi
bohong itu seperti ini:
It is not the end of the world, it is an alignment of the Universe, where the Sun and the earth will align for the first time. The earth will shift from the current third dimension to zero dimension, then shift to the forth dimension. During this transition, the entire Universe will face a big change, and we will see a entire brand new world..The 3 days blackout is predicted to happen on Dec 23, 24, 25…

Ini bukan akhir dari dunia, itu adalah pengelompokan alam semesta, matahari dan bumi akan mengelompok untuk3 hari kegelapan diperkirakan terjadi pada Des 23,, 24 25 …
pertama kali. Bumi akan bergeser dari dimensi ketiga saat ini ke nol dimensi, kemudian beralih ke
dimensi keempat. Selama masa transisi ini, seluruh semesta akan menghadapi perubahan besar, dan kami akan melihat dunia yang semuanya baru…
Informasi itu sangat rancu dan menyesatkan. Tidak ada pengelompokan
di alam semesta. Susunan planet-planet pun tidak mengelompok seperti
ditunjukkan gambar di atas untuk kondisi sekitar 23-25 Desember 2012.
NASA membuat batahan yang merupakan jawaban atas pertanyaan publik (bila perlu terjemahan, silakan gunakan fasilitas penerjemah google ):

A: The story started with claims that Nibiru, a supposed planet discovered by the Sumerians, is headed toward Earth. This catastrophe was initially predicted for May 2003, but when nothing happened the doomsday date was moved forward to December 2012 and linked to the end of one of the cycles in the ancient Mayan calendar at the winter solstice in 2012 — hence the predicted doomsday date of December 21, 2012.
Q: Does the Mayan calendar end in December 2012?
A: Just as the calendar you have on your kitchen wall does not cease to exist after December 31, the Mayan calendar does not cease to exist on December 21, 2012. This date is the end of the Mayan long-count period but then — just as your calendar begins again on January 1 — another long-count period begins for the Mayan calendar.
Q: Is NASA predicting a “total blackout” of Earth on Dec. 23 to Dec. 25?
A: Absolutely not. Neither NASA nor any other scientific organization is predicting such a blackout. The false reports on this issue claim that some sort of “alignment of the Universe” will cause a blackout. There is no such alignment (see next question). Some versions of this rumor cite an emergency preparedness message from NASA Administrator Charles Bolden. This is simply a message encouraging people to be prepared for emergencies, recorded as part of a wider government preparedness campaign. It never mentions a blackout.
Q: Could planets align in a way that impacts Earth?
A: There are no planetary alignments in the next few decades and even if these alignments were to occur, their effects on the Earth would be negligible. One major alignment occurred in 1962, for example, and two others happened during 1982 and 2000. Each December the Earth and sun align with the approximate center of the Milky Way Galaxy but that is an annual event of no consequence.

Q: Is there a planet or brown dwarf called Nibiru or Planet X or Eris that is approaching the Earth and threatening our planet with widespread destruction?
A: Nibiru and other stories about wayward planets are an Internet hoax. There is no factual basis for these claims. If Nibiru or Planet X were real and headed for an encounter with the Earth in 2012, astronomers would have been tracking it for at least the past decade, and it would be visible by now to the naked eye. Obviously, it does not exist. Eris is real, but it is a dwarf planet similar to Pluto that will remain in the outer solar system; the closest it can come to Earth is about 4 billion miles.
Q: What is the polar shift theory? Is it true that the Earth’s crust does a 180-degree rotation around the core in a matter of days if not hours?
A: A reversal in the rotation of Earth is impossible. There are slow movements of the continents (for example Antarctica was near the equator hundreds of millions of years ago), but that is irrelevant to claims of reversal of the rotational poles. However, many of the disaster websites pull a bait-and-switch to fool people. They claim a relationship between the rotation and the magnetic polarity of Earth, which does change irregularly, with a magnetic reversal taking place every 400,000 years on average. As far as we know, such a magnetic reversal doesn’t cause any harm to life on Earth. Scientists believe a magnetic reversal is very unlikely to happen in the next few millennia.
Q: Is the Earth in danger of being hit by a meteor in 2012?
A: The Earth has always been subject to impacts by comets and asteroids, although big hits are very rare. The last big impact was 65 million years ago, and that led to the extinction of the dinosaurs. Today NASA astronomers are carrying out a survey called the Spaceguard Survey to find any large near-Earth asteroids long before they hit. We have already determined that there are no threatening asteroids as large as the one that killed the dinosaurs. All this work is done openly with the discoveries posted every day on the NASA Near-Earth Object Program Office website, so you can see for yourself that nothing is predicted to hit in 2012.
Q: How do NASA scientists feel about claims of the world ending in 2012?
A: For any claims of disaster or dramatic changes in 2012, where is the science? Where is the evidence? There is none, and for all the fictional assertions, whether they are made in books, movies, documentaries or over the Internet, we cannot change that simple fact. There is no credible evidence for any of the assertions made in support of unusual events taking place in December 2012.

A: Solar activity has a regular cycle, with peaks approximately every 11 years. Near these activity peaks, solar flares can cause some interruption of satellite communications, although engineers are learning how to build electronics that are protected against most solar storms. But there is no special risk associated with 2012. The next solar maximum will occur in the 2012-2014 time frame and is predicted to be an average solar cycle, no different than previous cycles throughout history.› Video: Solar Storms

Tuntutan Majelis Tarjih Muhammadiyah untuk melaksanakan shalat gerhana bulan penumbra 28 November 2012 lalu (http://www.muhammadiyah.or.id/id/news-2041-detail-tuntunan-majelis-tarjih-terkait-gerhana-bulan.html)
saya anggap tidak ada dalil syar’i yang melandasinya. Hal ini menjadi
bahan diskusi di milis Muhammadiyah_Society@yahoogroups.com.
Perlu diketahui terlebih dahulu beberapa definisi berikut ini:
Gerhana bulan penumbra adalah ketika bulan purnama tertutup oleh
bayangan sekunder bumi, sehingga purnama hanya sedikit meredup. Orang
awam tidak bisa mengenali gerhana bulan penumbra ini, karena cahaya
purnama tidak jelas tergelapi (lihat foto di atas). Gerhana bulan umbra
adalah gerhana bulan yang biasa kita lihat, ketika bulan tergelapi oleh
bayangan primer bumi. Pada saat gerhana bulan umbra, purnama akan tampak
gelap sebagian atau seluruhnya. Gerhana matahari terjadi ketika bulan
menghalangi matahari, baik sebagian maupun secara total. Namun tidak
seluruh wilayah di bumi bisa melihatnya, hanya wilayah tertentu yang
bisa melihat gerhana matahari.
Dengan merujuk pada dalil-dalil yang juga difatwakan Majelis Tarjih
dan Tajdid (MTT) berikut ini catatan saya terkait dengan shalat gerhana
bulan penumbra dan ditambah catatan tentang shalat gerhana matahari yang
tak tampak
1. Berdasarkan dalil-dalil fikih, shalat gerhana dilaksanakan bila gerhana terlihat. Baca fatwa MTT: http://www.fatwatarjih.com/2011/06/shalat-gerhana.html . Ini kutipannya:
“Dalam hadis ini digunakan kata “idz” (إذا) yang merupakan zharf zaman (keterangan waktu), sehingga arti pernyataan hadis itu adalah: Bersegeralah mengerjakan salat pada waktu kamu melihat gerhana yang merupakan tanda kebesaran Allah itu.”
2. MTT Muhammadiyah mengedarkan tuntunan shalat gerhana bulan 10
Desember 2011, tetapi tidak menganjurkan shalat gerhana saat fase
penumbra. Ini konsisten dengan fatwa MTT bahwa “Bersegeralah mengerjakan
salat pada waktu kamu melihat gerhana yang merupakan tanda kebesaran
Allah itu.” (Lihat: http://www.muhammadiyah.or.id/news-659-detail-release-dan-tuntunan-majelis-tarjih-terkait-gerhana-bulan-besok.html ). Ini kutipannya:
Adapun data gerhana selengkapnya adalah sebagai berikut:
Gerhana Penumbra mulai : 18.34 WIB
Gerhana Umbra mulai : 19.45 WIB
Gerhana Total mulai : 21.06 WIB
Tengah Gerhana : 21.32 WIB
Gerhana Total berakhir : 21.58 WIB
Gerhana Umbra berakhir : 23.18 WIB
Gerhana Penumbra berakhir : 24.30 WIB
Perlu kami sampaikan bahwa pada momen awal gerhana Penumbra merupakan awal gerhana (18.34 WIB), namun tidak mudah dibedakan dengan Bulan Purnama. Mata manusia mulai mudah mengenal gerhana pada momen gerhana umbra, bagian Bulan di kawasan umbra Bumi akan terlihat hitam, karena sorot cahaya matahari Matahari ke Bulan 100% tertutup oleh planet Bumi.Sehubungan dengan hal di atas, kami menyarankan agar warga Muhammadiyah yang hendak menunaikan salat gerhana dapat memilih waktu pada momen gerhana Umbra mulai sampai dengan momen gerhana Umbra berakhir (19.45 s.d. 23.18 WIB).
3. Tuntunan shalat gerhana penumbra 28 November 2012 didasarkan pada “ketidakjelasan pijakan dan salah copas”. (http://www.muhammadiyah.or.id/id/news-2041-detail-tuntunan-majelis-tarjih-terkait-gerhana-bulan.html
). Kalau pada gerhana 10 Desember 2011 fase penumbra tidak dianjurkan
shalat, tetapi pada 28 November dianjurkan shalat pada fase umbra,
tetapi waktunya adalah fase penumbra. Ini kutipan rancunya:

Gerhana Panumbra mulai (P1) : 12h 12,6m UT = 19j 12,6m WIB
Puncak Gerhana : 14h 33,0m UT = 21j 33,0m WIB
Gerhana Panumbra berakhir (P4) : 16h 53,3m UT = 23j 53,3m WIB
Mulai Gerhana : 19.12 WIB
Puncak Gerhana : 21.33 WIB
Akhir Gerhana : 23.53 WIB
Sehubungan dengan hal di atas, kami menyarankan agar warga Muhammadiyah yang hendak menunaikan salat gerhana dapat memilih waktu pada momen gerhana Umbra mulai sampai dengan momen gerhana Umbra berakhir (19.12 s.d. 23.53 WIB).
Pernyataan “… dapat memilih waktu pada momen gerhana Umbra mulai
sampai dengan momen gerhana Umbra berakhir …” merupakan copas tuntunan
yang benar saat gerhana umbra 10 Desember 2011, namun dirancukan dengan
waktu gerhana penumbra “(19.12 s.d. 23.53 WIB)”.
Gerhana bulan penumbra merupakan gerhana yang tak tampak, sehingga
tidak disyariatkan untuk melaksanakan shalat gerhana penumbra. Demikian
pula gerhana matahari yang tak tampak, karena bayangan bulan tidak
mengenai daerah tersebut. Misalnya, gerhana matahari 14 November 2012
hanya dapat di amati di wilayah Timur Indonesia, Asia Timur, dan
Pasifik. Di Indsonesia Barat tidak dapat mengamatinya, sehingga tidak
disyariatkan shalat gerhana di Indonesa Barat. Jadi, walau pun terjadi
gerhana, tetapi tidak teramati karena posisi tempat yang tidak
memungkinkan melihat gerhana, maka tidak disyariatkan shalat gerhana.
Bagaimana kalau secara astronomis gerhana diperhitungkan teramati di
suatu wilayah, tetapi kemudian mendung atau hujan? Banyak yang
berpendapat dan sudah sering dilaksanakan di banyak masjid, shalat
gerhana tetap dilaksanakan. Prinsipnya sama dengan penentuan awal bulan
qamariyah, bahwa imkan rukyat atau kemungkinan visibilitas bisa menjadi
dasar untuk menetapkan waktu ibadah. Ketika secara astronomis hilal
mungkin dirukyat, fajar mungkin tampak, atau gerhana mungkin terlihat,
maka saat itulah waktu ibadah sudah bisa ditentukan, baik nyata terlihat
maupun terhalang mendung.
